Product Range Expansion: WIKA Dead Weight Testers

In order to meet the growing demands for the calibration of pressure measuring instruments with high measuring ranges, WIKA Calibration Line have expanded their CPB-Series Dead Weight Tester product range.

CPB5000 - Clean and Dry Calibration
The CPB5000 Instrument Base is now available with an extended pneumatic pressure range up to 400bar. This enables test items to be quickly, dryly and cleanly calibrated with air.

CPB5000DP - Calibration of Small Differential Pressures Under High Static Pressure
The extended pneumatic pressure range is also available for the CPB5000DP. This enables differential pressure transmitters with small measuring spans, under high pneumatic pressures, to be calibrated easily and precisely.

Innovative “Air to Oil” Technology
In order to achieve accurate pneumatic pressure calibration up to 400bar, WIKA Calibration Line utilise a specially adapted Hydraulic Piston Cylinder System coupled with a Pneumatic instrument base. WIKA’s unique ‘Air to Oil’ Purifier converts the pneumatic compressed air supply into a hydraulic medium which provides significantly enhanced piston spin and float times.

Calibration Under High Pressure
The CPB5000HP Dead Weight Tester is now available in pressure measurement ranges up to 5000bar / 70,000psi - this allows optimum calibration coverage of high pressure measurement instruments.
